Hey Friends, Happy Friday from Texas …where things are a little blingy, big and horses are in the streets (not everywhere, just where I am. ❤️ ) I’ve been wanting to feature this lovely labradorite because its a special version of the stone. If anyone has ever heard of Mystic Topaz, they know the metallic shimmer I’m talking about. Since the development of that process many years ago, the creative process on other stones has just grown and grown. I normally love stones to be natural and have their own fire, but from time to time, I do love a metallic-treatment. Such is the case with this week’s Friday Feature. That simple treatment creates a shimmer with bits of pink, purple, blue and silver coming off the labradorite. While its very subtle, its just enough to add a little bit of extra something to the stone.
