Hello Friends. Happy Friday! I love this piece for today’s Friday Feature. I made the initial sample for some specific events this summer …but they got cancelled. Nevertheless, I still wanted to offer them as a Friday Feature, especially knowing they would be at such a great price point. These “by hand” pieces are completely crafted from scratch through textures, molds I’ve made or cast, or in this case, a really cool, vintage hand made fabric block. I love working like this …as these pieces are limited edition, not mass-produced, and unique only to Soul and Story. Stars have always been a favorite of mine …as they seem to point to something not only magical, but remind us of the allure of the heavens. Long seen by the ancients as a symbol of guidance & protection, we still look to the heavens for hope and as a dream that all things are possible. As we prepare to move into a new year, I love the idea of renewal …and that we always have the greatness built within us to pursue what we were placed here to do. Enjoy!
