Happy Friday Friends!! Today is a bit of a "fine jewelry" Friday Feature ...not diamonds ...but really beautifully curated gemstones and meticulously crafted semi-statement earrings. I was inspired to make these watching the Cleopatra series ...all the beautiful Lapis gems with the garnets sprinkled in ...and a few purples, turquoises and greens. All those jewel tones were well used during the entire Egyptian era ...from adornment to even the painted buildings. The walls & ceiling at Karnak Temple are even still visible in many areas ...outlasting the weather of 2000 years. The first time I saw Karnak in fact, all I could do was just stand and stare!! Truly amazing.

Fabulous for fall, and moving into winter, these are lightweight, comfortable, can go casual to dressy ..and even skew holiday. From the Lapis, African Sapphires, Egyptian trade beads, Garnets, Aventurine, Amethyst, Turquoise and Carnelian , the jewel-tones are covered. Also, every pair is entirely hand-made by me, so each one is made with my love!! Enjoy.
