Its the last Friday of 2021 …. the last DAY of 2021. It feels like we were JUST experiencing the slower paced fall of 2020 …and now, a split second later, we are closing out a year that absolutely flew by!! Of course, time is relative, but what is so fascinating is how we humans experience it throughout history. The passing of time lasts forever when we are young, and yet as we age …a day, a month, a year is nothing. Our connection to the stars & celestial bodies in many ways set us down IN time as we watch them cycle and move seasonally. Even more curiously  …that light we are currently experiencing from the stars is long passed …as our night sky has completely changed in those light years from us. This phenomena of how time is both limited and endless is a conundrum that keeps the mind in a constant state of wonder. 

I believe that is one of the curiosities that draws us back to celestial motifs and themes again and again …as we see it consistently circle back both in art, architecture and fashion. The immensity of the sky …stars, sun, moon, planets …both somehow a mystery and a comfort as we know we are deeply interwoven to something so vast and mystical in this amazing Creation in which we find ourselves!! As the sky continues to inspire me, I’ll continue to respond the best I can through the art I’ve been given. I absolutely love today’s Friday Feature …the last day of the year …a reminder, to continue to look heavenward …where wonder can always be found!
