Navajo Thunderbird Ring
Navajo Thunderbird Ring
I have always loved a Native-American Thunderbird. There is something so traditional, symbolic …even primal about them. To the American tribes in the Southeast, they mean protection, power and strength. And of course, they embody the very significant “feather” motifs ….which are everything, even foundational to a proud Navajo. Feathers are about honor & respect, a connection between human & God, and of course, the bird himself. No matter the style or size, thunderbirds remain to be one of the most special symbols in Native American lore.
